Why?

The Fatherless...The Gospel...Burdened...Moved

I pray it ROCKS you the way it did us...  

   

This is the most powerful video I have ever seen on adoption.  It completely ROCKED us.  I have felt a burden to somehow communicate to others that this is REAL...we far too often go about our lives as if it is not, because we don't actually "see" the suffering.  The first time I saw this was not too long after we stepped out in obedience to do what the Lord was calling us to do...adopt.  The crazy thing is that the Lord led Cole and I to think about adoption in a very similar way that Eric Ludy (guy you hear on the video) describes the Lord led him to consider it...as a child of his own...his Hudson...our Kenzi Jean.  I really don't have many words for this post, and if you watched this video, you will know why.  There is no question that the fatherless are a big deal to God...huge.  So, I can't help but ask you whether or not you have considered your role in defending them (Psalm 82:3)...have you?  Is it to give?  Serve?  Adopt?  Is it all three?  So many of you have, and without you, we would not be bringing home our baby boy.  Thank you.
